Delivery Zones

Both the Royal Mail and IOM Post operate a number of different different postal regions depending on where the item is being delivered.

These are:

Royal Mail (Parcel Force)		IOM Post
Zone 1 - England, Wales and parts of Scotland excluding Highlands & Islands		Isle of Man
Zone 2 - Highlands & Islands of Scotland		UK
Zone 3 - Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Isles of Scilly		Zone 4 – Channel Islands
Zone 4 – Channel Islands		Zone 5 – Irish Republic
Zone 5 – Irish Republic		Zone 6 – Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg
Zone 6 – Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg		Zone 7 – France, Germany, Denmark
Zone 7 – France, Germany, Denmark		Zone 8 – Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece
Zone 8 – Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece		Zone 9 – Rest of Europe
Zone 9 – Rest of Europe		Zone 10 – USA & Canada
Zone 10 – USA & Canada		Zone 11 – Far East & Australasia

Since there are so many different zones for parcel delivery this could confuse any user looking at your postal rates. When the Parcel Post rates are studied for all the European's zones (Zones 6,7,8 & 9) there is often only a few pounds difference in the postage. We therefore feel it is better to simplify the delivery zones into a handful of zones. We would recommend that you map the delivery zones as below using the the most expensive zone in your calculation of your delivery charge.
