Product Catalogue Export

Once you have made any changes to your products within the Retailer Control Panel you will need to export the product catalogue to ensure that the files on your website are updated. Below are instructions on how to do this.

  1. From the right hand menu choose the "Export Catalogue" option.

  2. This will bring up a screen with 2 catalogue options. Click the catalogue option related to your website, this is usually the second option. Then click next.

  1. The next screen shows you the progress of the export process. Do Not press anything or change website until the progress bar has reached 100%. It may take some time for this to happen depending on the size of your product catalogue. Once the progress bar has reached 100% then click next.

  1. This screen shows the transfer settings for your website, these setting should pre set so you only need to press next.

  1. There will now be a delay in loading the next page as the files are transferred to your website. You will get a confirmation message once this has happened.

  2. The transfer process has now been completed.

Please Note - Large Product Tree
If you have a large product tree of the Internet is running slow you may find that your web browser times out before you get a message confirming that the transfer process has completed. If this occurs you should wait about 15-20 mins before checking your website to ensure the transfer process has completed. If you have an extremely large product tree or a complex customised installation then you may need to wait longer before checking your website.

Please Note - FTP Error
During the final transfer stage of the export process you may get an FTP error asking you to check your transfer settings. This error can be caused if the Internet or the Security-Payment.com server is busy. If this happens we recommend that you wait about 20-30 mins and then try again.
