Setting Metadata

Metadata are a series of hidden html code elements that are used by the search engines when indexing pages on your website. In order to improve how your product catalogue is indexed we recommend that you customise this metadate for individual product and category pages.

You can enter custom meta information for a given category or product page by choosing "Catalogue Meta Information" from the popup options menu. A new screen will appear where you can enter a page title, description and keywords for that page.

The next time that the product catalogue is exported this information will be used on the appropriate page.
